The end date
Days between counts from the start date up to the end date, without the end date itself: Monday to Friday is 4 days. Include the end date when both days count — that same Monday to Friday is then 5.
How many days between two dates, how many until a date — or since one — and what date you land on after adding days, weeks, months or years. Everything is calculated in your browser.

Days between counts from the start date up to the end date, without the end date itself: Monday to Friday is 4 days. Include the end date when both days count — that same Monday to Friday is then 5.
Weekdays are Monday to Friday, counted over the same span as the days. Public holidays are left in, because which days are holidays depends on where — and for whom — you work.
Adding a month keeps the day of the month when it exists. When it doesn’t, you get the month’s last day: January 31 plus one month is February 28, or 29 in a leap year.
Every count uses calendar dates, never hours, so daylight saving can’t add or lose a day. “Today” is the date on your device, wherever you are.
About counting days, and about this calculator.
Enter a start date and an end date, and the calculator counts the calendar days from one to the other. By default the end date itself is not counted, so January 1 to January 2 is 1 day; tick “Include the end date” to count both days, which makes it 2.
Include it when the first and the last day both count — a trip or an event from Monday to Friday is 5 days. Leave it out when you are measuring time that has passed, such as how long ago something happened or how many days remain until a deadline.
The days-between result also shows weekdays, counting Monday to Friday only. Public holidays are not removed, because they differ by country, state and employer — subtract the ones that apply to you.
You get the last day of February — February 28, or February 29 in a leap year. Adding months or years keeps the same day of the month when it exists and otherwise uses the month’s last day. Adding days or weeks always counts exactly.
No. The calculator works with calendar dates, not hours, so a daylight-saving change can never add or remove a day. “Today” is the date on your own device.
Yes. Every calculation happens in your browser. The dates you enter are not sent to Shojum, not saved, and not added to the page address, and the page uses no cookies or analytics.
Yes. Mikan Days is a free date calculator for iPhone that does the same counting, saves your calculations and milestones, and shows them in Home Screen widgets. Everything stays on your device.
