About Kaki / Public route 05

A quiet catalogue.A working studio.

Kaki collects digital interfaces to look at closely, understand honestly, and sometimes remake as small interactive studies.

What Kaki is for

Five simple purposes.

  1. 01Discover

Find considered interfaces without the noise of a social feed.

  2. 02Study

Inspect composition, hierarchy, responsive states, and interaction choices.

  3. 03Interact

Try selected recreations only when a genuine preview has been built.

  4. 04Download

Use source only when the package and its redistribution rights are verified.

  5. 05Make

Experiment with a few visual ideas in the client-side Playground.

How Shojum curates

Keep the reason beside the work.

Entries are chosen for a specific visual or interaction question—not because they are fashionable, popular, or able to fill an empty grid.

Each record should explain why it is here, who made the original, what Kaki changed, and what visitors can genuinely view or use.

Catalogue language

What each label means.

01

Inspiration

A visual record shown for study. Third-party work must remain visibly attributed.

02

Recreation

A disclosed Kaki interpretation or rebuild. It never claims ownership of an original source.

03

Interactive

A label used only when an entry can genuinely be tried. It does not automatically imply a source file.

Attribution principles

The record stays beside the work.

  1. 01Name the creator and link the original source when the work is not Kaki’s.
  2. 02State what Kaki changed, recreated, or added.
  3. 03Show license terms before offering any file.
  4. 04Separate screen, live-preview, and download availability.
  5. 05Correct or remove a record when its provenance cannot be verified.

Name / 01

Persimmon first.
Making as an echo.

The primary reference is , Japanese for persimmon. The same sound creates a quieter association with 描き, drawing, and 書き, writing. They are different words and kanji; the creative meaning is wordplay, not a translation.

Kaki is an independent project by Shojum.
